EXIT FROM EXPRESS HIGHWAY, PROVINCIAL
What is a SLOW STRIP
It is the lane that exists on the right edge of the roads (Motorway- Expressway- Provincial etc. see picture 1 and figure 1) and is used by vehicles, which are going to exit from the main road.

FIGURE 1
The output should be as follows:
- From about 1000m or less you will see signs warning you to EXIT, be sure to move to the RIGHT LANE if you are anywhere else
- The vehicle to enter the deceleration lane should wait to meet the dotted line (see Figure 1 Position 2). ATTENTION!!! you should move right (into the deceleration lane) at the start of the dash and not later. '—
- If you miss the start of the dotted line, then look to your right because someone may have entered behind you, possibly exiting at the same junction as you, so head right and back just before hitting the dotted line
- You should activate the direction indicators as soon as you see the last exit warning (about 200 m before the exit, see figure 1 position 1).
ATTENTION!!! It is forbidden to slow down while you are still in the RIGHT TRAFFIC LANE i.e. in position 2, The foot on the brake will be placed after pressing the dotted line and entering the deceleration lane (see position 3).
If you brake in position 2 and someone runs into you you will pay for them unless you can prove that they were not keeping a safe distance at the time you applied the brake and don't tell me that will be the case because it isn't always the case. The driver who knows the KOK will not expect you to brake before entering the SLOW DOWN lane
- Do not stop in the deceleration LANE without a serious reason and of course do not park, it is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If you are damaged and unable to move your vehicle, place an emergency triangle at the start of the Slowdown lane and ask your passengers to wait behind the bars if there are any.
- Make sure until you reach the end of the SLOW DOWN lane that you have taken the correct exit speed, which should not exceed 50 km/h depending on the road
- If for some reason you are in position 4 and change your mind ie want to continue straight, don't make the mistake of re-entering the freeway however confident you are. Exit and re-enter through another entrance.
The same applies if you find yourself in position 5, i.e. you missed the exit, do not reverse in the right lane you are in in order to take the exit you just passed, you will go ahead and take the next exit in order to make a return or whatever else you think is required.
Because we always make our mistakes - Don't forget what I have written in another part of this website, that mistakes are expected to happen, but what we must learn to do right is to correct them at the right time with the right actions.
I will explain to you an exception that exists for those, therefore, who have made a mistake and are in a hurry or there is some very serious reason for doing so and not out of selfishness or magic(this does not mean that KOK allows you to).
If you find yourself in positions 4 (you exited by mistake) or 5 (you forgot to exit) shown in figure 1 above and there are the above serious reasons, you can stop on the vertical line position 6 and very carefully i.e. if no one is coming up behind you and there is enough visibility, reverse to correct your course. Be careful, use as little back distance as possible However, activate your emergency lights in any case
