Who is entitled to a temporary licence?

Beneficiaries of a temporary driving licence are those who are successfully examined in a qualification and behavior test, i.e. those who pass the practical test for the initial grant or extension to another category of driving licence from Monday 11 May 2020.

What do you need?

Sign in and check for validity

To issue or view a temporary licence you will need your personal Taxisnet passwords.
If you think you are entitled to a temporary permit and it is not available, select "Contact the Transport Directorate".
For the validity check you will need the temporary licence confirmation link, confirmation code or QR code.
You can send the temporary driver's licence electronically or print it and hand it in on paper.
